Praise Update: The Head In For Safety Event
Was a tremendous success! 185 children were given bicycle helmets, sports equipment, safety information, and 14 new bicycles were given away! Thank you Noreana for organizing this and allowing the ROM ministry to serve with the other organizations at this event and thank you to all who made our involvement possible!
This event allowed us to joyfully serve one another - shoulder to shoulder in a practical way!
Local Need Focus - July 2010
We are continuing with the tarps collection throughout the summer months. Also, there is a desperate need for MENS shoes and (new) socks for the "Bin" at LMH ED.
Plastic Tarps - Medium sized plastic tarps that may be given out to our homeless population to prepare for SW Florida rainy season!
Please make sure that the tarps are the type that can be easily folded down into an appropriate size for someone who must carry them on their person.
